World’s best trek per Backpacker magazine. Part II starts in central Switzerland (Interlaken) and ends in Montreux. Traverse beautiful Alpine passes while enjoying wonderful views. Typical day covers 8 miles with an altitude gain of 2,900’ while carrying 20–25 lb pack.
Before the Via Alpina we spent a week exploring the Val d’Annivers, Bern, and the Ballenberg museum.
